Admission Procedures

The academic session starts from June every vear (As per M.U. Rules)
1. FOR ADMISSION IN 5 YEARS INTEGRATED B.A., LL.B., & Hons., LL.B LL.B, 3yrs COURSE:


ELIGIBILITY


A candidate for admission in B.A., LL. B. & B.B.A, LL. B course must have :


(a) Passed the Higher Secondary (10+2) or an equivalent examination with a minimum 45% of the total marks in case of general category applicants and 40% in case of ST/SC/EBC & 42% for OBC Applicants
(b) B.C.I.F.D4189/2013 (Council) dated 07.09.2017 now there is no age bar in admission to LL.B. 3 years/5 Years courses resolution of BCI are as under.


2. FORADMISSION IN 3 YEARS LL.B. COURSE:


Eligibility

A candidate for admission in the LL.B. (3 years Course) must have:-


(a) Graduation degree or its equivalent from any recognized University of India with a minimum 45% of the total marks in case of general category applicants and 40% in case of ST/SC/EBC & 42% for OBC applicants


Note:-
Admission cannot be claimed as a matter of right. It may be refused or cancelled even admission is allowed if any of the required documents are not produced at the time of admission or after admission or even after obtaining LL.B. degree on forged documents.

 

3. REQUIREMENTS:


Application for admission in LL.B. 3 yr. Degree and Hons Course and 5 years course requires the following documents:

  1. Attested photo copies of original documents of Marciulation Certificate/ 10+2 or Intermediate or equivalent Certificate and Mark-Sheet/Graduation Certificate and Mark-sheet.
  2. Original School Leaving Certificate/College Leaving Certificate/ULC/DLC.
  3. Original Migration Certificate (in case of candidates coming from other University of India or abroad).
  4. Three copies of recent passport size coloured photographs.

4. IDENTITY CARD:


The College will issue identity card to all bonafide students. The Students are required to carry their Identity Cards which must be produced if demanded by the authority.

5. STANDING ORDERS:


Classes will be held in day time as per routine of the Mahavidyalaya time to time notified on notice board. The office remains open from 10:30 A.M. to 4:30 P.M. even the classes remain suspended.

6. ATTENDANCE:

Students are advised to attend the classes regularly as it is necessary to have 75% of attendance of Classes held in the college in each subject and also in aggregate. In case some one fails to do he will be deprived to fill up the University examination form.

7. DISCIPLINARY COMMITTEE:


There is a disciplinary committee of the college. Students are expected to maintain perfect discipline in the college campus and premises of college failing which disciplinary action will be taken up

8. ANTI RAGGING COMMITTEE:


The Institute has formed an Anti Ragging Cell to promote heathy atmosphere of academic sphere amidst fear free zone.


9. STANDING ORDERS:


(a) Classes will be held in daytime as per routine of the Mahavidyalaya.
(b) The office, however, remains open from 10:30A.M. to 4:30 P.M.
(c) Notices intended for the students are put up on the Notice Board. A plea of ignorance of any notice will not be accepted as an excuse for failure to comply with it. Students are advised to see Notice Board regularly on all working days of the Mahavidyalaya.
(d) Students are expected to maintain perfect discipline in the class rooms and also in the premises or
Mahavidyalaya.
(e) No student shall leave the class except on urgent business and with the permission of teacher those going out without permission and not returning to class room are liable to be marked absent.
(f) Loitering about or congregating in corridors and verandas during class hours or otherwise causing disturbance is forbidden and students found in doing so are liable for disciplinary action.
(g) Students are advised to attend the classes regularly as it is necessary to have 75% attendance of classes held in the Mahavidyalaya in each subject and also in aggregate. In case some one fails to do so he/she will be deprived to fill up the final University Examination Form.

10. COLLEGE LIBRARY:

The college has a rich library having a large collection of Law books, law reports, Law journals, Law Manual such as SCC, Indian Bar Review, selected Judgments of professional ethics etc. for meeting the needs of the students and teachers. The college is regularly purchasing books so that academic and research work may be done in standard form of education. The college Library is also modernised with the internet facility along with CDs & ROMs for e-teaching.

11. RULES & REGULATIONS OF LIBRARY:

The Library will function from 10:00 A.M. to 4:30 P.M. Each student may be allowed to borrow two books for 10 days at a time against he deposit of Rs. 500/- each book as caution money. The students are directed to maintain peace and discipline in the library. The students of final year will have to submit their no dues report at the time of filling up the examination form. Negligence and delaying in submission of books will be the cause of penalty. Some specified journals and books will not be issued for use outside the library. Teachers are available in library for consultation from
10:00 A.M to 3:00 P.M in weekdays.

12. MOOT COURT:

The moot court is part and parcel of our syllabus and education to provide training and practical knowledge with other facilities to impart skill of advocacy with students. Students are inspired to take part in National Moot Court competition. There is a Moot Court Room where debate is to be held on environmental Law and Others. Prof. O..
Choushysa and Dr. S.K. Mishra are the incharges of the cell.

13. FREE LEGAL AID CLINIC & HUMAN RIGHTS CELL:

The college shall establish and run a Legal Aid Clinic and Human Rights Cell to provide free legal assistance and legal awareness to the needy and to fulfill the constitutional goals with the help of the students. Prof. A.K. Sinha, Adv./Prof.A.K. Chaurasiya & Prof. S.N. Mishra are the incharges of the cell.

14. LEGALAID CENTRE:

Under supervision of Senior Faculty members to administer the clinic run by final year students of the Institution.

15. COURT JURISDICTION FOR LEGAL AFFAIRS:

The territorial Jurisdiction for any cases to be filed in Civil Court or Consumer Disputes or any other Proceedings shall be Nawada only which is the seat of administration as per the Provisions of the Act of Magadh University, BodhGaya (Bihar).

Important Notice

नवादा विधि महाविद्यालय कैंपस 2 में 18 मार्च एवं 19 मार्च 2024 को शिक्षक प्रतिनिधि कर्मचारी संघ एवं छात्र संघ का चुनाव आयोजित की जाएगी इसकी जानकारी नवादा विधि महाविद्यालय के प्रिंसिपल डॉ डी एन मिश्रा ने बताया वही इस चुनाव को लेकर कालेज कर्मियों एवं छात्र तथा शिक्षक प्रतिनिधियों में भी उत्साह देखा जा रहा है कॉलेज की चौमुखी विकास को लेकर चुनाव क रा ने का यह निर्णय लिया गया है इसके लिए तिथि भी निर्धारित कर दी गई है 18 मार्च को शिक्षक प्रतिनिधि एवं कर्मचारी संघ का चुनाव होगा तथा छात्र संघ का चुनाव 19 मार्च को होगा इसके लिए पूरी तैयारी कर ली गई है छात्र संघ के चुनाव में पर्यवेक्षक के रूप में प्रोफेसर श्याम किशोर सर प्रोफेसर सिराज अय्यर राकेश रंजन मिश्रा वेद व्यास पांडे इनके देखरेख में चुनाव कर जाएगा वही शिक्षक प्रतिनिधि के चुनाव के पर्यवेक्षक डॉ डीएन मिश्रा एवं शासकीय निकाय के सदस्य रहेंगे वही डॉ डीएन मिश्रा ने बताया कि शांतिपूर्ण एवं निष्पक्षता के साथ चुनाव कराया जाएगा इस चुनाव को लेकर पुख्ता व्यवस्था कर ली गई है
